Types of Massages
Swedish Massage:
A relaxing, stress-reducing massage that promotes increased circulation and the removal of toxins from muscle tissue. The pace of this massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system and induces a deep, restful state of well being.

Myofascial Massage:
A slower, deeper massage. This treatment includes stretching of soft tissue, pain relief, relaxation, structural balance and enhanced movement. It can be done through light clothing or in combination with other massage styles.

Neuro-Muscular Technique (NMT):
This deep tissue massage is applied therapeutically to correct problems such as spasms and contractions. NMT allows the full function of muscles and nerves to be reestablished. NMT improves circulation and the texture of muscle tissue. Allowing flexibility in muscles and the release of toxins such as lactic acid.

Sports Massage:
Utilizes deeper, more specific strokes to loosen adhered tissue and increase range of motion. This type of massage is effective in treating injuries and enhances physical performance. This massage is normally a 15 to 30 minute treatment.

Stone Massage:
A full body massage, utilizing hot stones to provide deep relaxation within the muscles.
